<reviewbody>Robyn and the Venus 3 with Scott McCaughey and Peter Buck is quite a super group in itself. On this night in Nashville, they added Gillian Welch and David Rawlings and John Paul Jones. Does that make them a "monster group"?

Two days later in Atlanta, he'd lost his voice and sounded, by his description, "like Leonard Cohen doing Robyn Hitchcock". The Atlanta show was a little short, but still great, but this Nashville night is nothing short of magical.

Robyn has the uncanny ability to do covers of just about any other musician....on this night, he took on Talking Heads; twisted the lyrics around a little, but a mesmerizing performance.

Thanks for recording and sharing.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>You are absolutely right, thank you for the quick response to my issue (which was entirely on my end) and the amazing show... for some reason "I Wanna Destroy You" did not download the first time, but I just grabbed it and am making a new disc. With regard to Briggs, etc... yeah, I know the songs well, love Robyn's music and think I have just about everything he's officially put out, but love the live shows... see him every time he comes around, which in Portland is quite often fortunately! Thanks again, sorry about any confusion. This is one of the best shows both in quality of the recording and content that I have ever had the pleasure to get my hands on. Thank you my friend!!!!</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>I double checked the original master MD and all tracks are represented here - and in the proper order.
d2t01 is dialog that begins with "Guitar Strings" but also goes into the topic of "Bush and Rove." Since the dialog began with "Guitar Strings" and represented almost half of the track - I simply labeled it as "Dialog (Guitar Strings)."
d2t02 is the actual song "(A Man's Gotta Know His Limitations) Briggs" and ends with Robyn dedicating the next song to the administration "in an unpleasant way" - which leads directly into "I Wanna Destroy You."
d2t03 is "I Wanna Destroy You" and was the final song before the encore.

Hope this helps clear everything up.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>I'm not the first one to say so, but this show really is magical. Robyn remarks that "it will never be mixed"--a shame, in a way, but part of its charm: a unique meeting of musicians & a fleeting, one-of-a-kind evening. "Queen Jane Approximately" ends the show majestically & Robyn's "Life During Wartime" lyrics are a hoot.</reviewbody>
